The Mare Island Historical Park Foundation invites you to the Speaker Series: USS CAMANCHE – Confederate Raiders and Defending the San Francisco Bay on November 19th – 

Who: Anyone with an interest in the San Francisco Bay Area during the Civil War.

What: A presentation by historian Robert Bailey of the life of a Civil War era monitor in the San Francisco Bay Area.

When: November 19th, 3:00-4:00 PM.

Where: St. Peter’s Chapel,  1181 Walnut Ave, Mare Island.

How: Tickets are limited. $15/person for advance purchase and $20 at the door. Mare Island Historic Park Foundation members are free. All proceeds benefit the Foundation.
