Attached is the last for the upcoming 24th Annual Margot Brown Wheelchair Regatta on Saturday, 28 September. We will be ready to receive Veterans from 0900hrs onward.

Please keep an eye on the weather reports. May be chilly on the bay, and sunscreen and a cap are always a good idea.

Those of you who may know of a veteran home-bound that may need a day out consider bringing them along too. The instructions are all in the attachment.

Attached is the second notice for the upcoming Margot Brown Wheelchair Regatta on Saturday, 28 September.  It is with a heavy heart that I report the passing of Margot Brown. She died this past April.  The Wheelchair Regatta was her creation and her energy kept it going.

I hope you are able to find a way to bring your veterans to the event. Those of you who may know of a veteran home-bound that may need a day out consider bringing them along too.  The instructions are all in the attachment.

Greetings all and Happy Spring!

Attached is the “Save the Date” notice for the 23rd Annual Margot Brown Wheelchair Regatta to be held at Encinal Yacht Club in Alameda, Saturday, 28 September.

As many of you know, this amazing event is aimed at getting veterans, who may not otherwise have a day out, a great day on the water and a pampered BBQ for their service to the nation. We hope to be welcoming veterans from Santa Rosa this year! If you know of a house-bound veteran, not in a home, please bring that person along as well.

I hope you can attend and support this event, perhaps bring a house-bound veteran to the club that day. The event is sponsored by the Pacific Inter-Yacht Club Association and hosted by the Encinal Yacht Club.
