[true-north] Canadian Thanksgiving Luncheon. October 13, 12 noon

Note this up-coming event from a fellow Canadian organization in the Bay Area.


Join fellow Canadians, their families and guests in a festively decorated dining room and celebrate our Holiday with a traditional Thanksgiving luncheon.

We’ll offer turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and gravy; and for vegetarians, a vegetable and polenta tower.  Pumpkin pie with whipped cream, coffee & tea completes the meal.  No host bar.

A raffle and a Canadian themed quiz for all, with prizes.

RSVP required by October 1 if possible.

Canadian Women’s Club of the San Francisco Bay Area – Luncheon Series

On Wednesday, April 11, 2018, Colonel Fred Rutledge, President of the Royal Canadian Legion -San Francisco Branch 25 , spoke to the Canadian Women’s Club of the San Francisco Bay Area as a part of their monthly Luncheon Series.  Fred discussed with the group the rich history that the Royal Canadian Legion has in the Bay area.  Below are some pictures from the event.

He is a fourth generation native Californian. He retired from the Army Reserve as a Lieutenant-Colonel in 2007 with over 27 years of service and promptly joined the California State Military Reserve and the California Center for Military History.
