Register now for Walking our War Graves: Normandy

Members might be interested in taking part in this fitness fundraiser for the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.

Registration is now open for Walking Our War Graves: Normandy.

Thanks to people like you, the last virtual walk we organised, in aid of The Commonwealth War Graves Foundation, was a huge success. Therefore, we have decided to create another, but this time in Normandy.

Here’s all you need to know about taking part:

From 25th April – 27th May, the virtual 95km route will start at Ranville War Cemetery and cover the distance between Commission cemeteries that commemorate those who died in the Normandy region during the Second World War.

Complete the distance any way you would like, and from anywhere in the world.

It costs just £25 to enter and you can set your own fundraising target.

Taking part in this challenge will help the CWGF support more key initiatives like our RAF Cadets research project to our first public engagement event in Nairobi, Kenya which saw local students visit Kariokor Cemetery to discover the Second World War casualties buried there.

Together we can keep their stories alive.
