The Digital Moose Lounge is led by a volunteer board of twelve and is seeking a new Treasurer to take the reigns from our outgoing Treasurer. This role is integral to the Board operating a financially healthy organization.
About the role:
-
Works closely with the Chair / President of the Digital Moose Lounge.
-
Serves as the responsible Officer to monitor and present financial data to help the board execute its fiduciary duties while identifying fiscal risks and trends.
-
Manages events transactions, works with the governance committee on the board to track expenses and tax compliance obligations, and presents financial updates at quarterly board meetings.
-
Has signature authority over the DML’s banking, tax, and financial reporting.
-
Ideally, we are seeking someone with CPA or operational oversight experience and a passion for Canada; our bylaws allow the treasurer to only serve as an officer OR to join the board as an officer and director.
Please send resumes/bios directly to DML Chair Sarah Price sarah@digitalmooselounge
