A message from Veterans Affairs Canada   This year, 6 June 2024, marks the 80th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy. Veterans Affairs Canada will hold our signature in-Canada events in the Greater Moncton Area, New Brunswick, from 4-7 June 2024. We are currently seeking Second World War Veterans to join our delegation in New Brunswick. If you have Second World War Veterans within your organization or community who are interested in travelling to Moncton to mark the anniversary, we kindly ask that you forward us their contact information and we will ensure they receive an official invitation.   Also, if you are planning on hosting a commemorative event locally to mark this important anniversary, please let us know.
