About Michael K. Barbour

Michael K. Barbour is the Director of Faculty Development and a Professor of Instructional Design for the College of Education and Health Sciences at Touro University California. He has been involved with K-12 online learning in a variety of countries for well over a decade as a researcher, teacher, course designer and administrator. Michael's research focuses on the effective design, delivery and support of K-12 online learning, particularly for students located in rural jurisdictions.

Veterans Day 2023 – Touro University California

Earlier today Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25 President Michael Barbour participated in a Veterans Day Ceremony hosted by Touro University California on their campus, which sits on the former Mare Island Naval Shipyard.  The event was littered with poppies.  Below is the recording and some of the pictures from the event.

Liberty Elementary School Veterans Day Assembly 2023

Liberty School District and Liberty Elementary School are located adjacent to Liberty Cemetery in Petaluma, which the Royal Canadian Legion US Branch #25 helps to maintain.  Earlier today the branch once again distributed poppies at the school’s annual Veterans Day assembly.
