Earlier this evening, Branch 25 of the Royal Canadian Legion participated in the annual Canadian Heritage Night organized by the San Jose Sharks, Digital Moose Lounge, the Consulate General of Canada, San Francisco and the British Columbia Trade and Investment. The event featured pre-game access in the Rinkside Room, Augie’s smoked meat sandwich and Poutine Bar, a bar with Canadian Beer, and Nanaimo bars. Branch 25 was there to distribute poppies to all who came through the door.

Additionally, the Consul General was on hand to drop the puck for the ceremonial face-off – sporting his poppy!

And there was also a hockey game between the San Jose Sharks and the Vancouver Canucks.
