| Dear Michael,
Today, November 11, is a day for reflection and respect.
On this day, Canadians remember and offer our tribute to the service and sacrifice shown by all those who have paid the ultimate price while serving in Canada’s Armed Forces. |

Today at 11 AM, whether we are at work, at home, or attending a ceremony, let us unite in spirit to pause and remember.

| As they have done through so many conflicts in the past, our freedoms continue to depend on the commitment and bravery of those who voluntarily step forward to put on the nation’s uniform. So, today, we also give thought and reflect on the continued role our military members play, in Canada and around the world.
The costs of service may be counted not only in the wounds and injuries to the body and mind of our soldiers, sailors and aviators, but also in the toll taken on the families, spouses and children who stand alongside them.
We have an obligation to build a resilient network of support for those in the Armed Forces, for Veterans and for their families.
Our country becomes stronger when Canadians stand with those who have given their all, when each one of us helps carry the costs of their service.
Then, now and always, we will remember.
With our gratitude, |
