Willow on the Green in Golden Gate National Park in San Francisco is a new Poppy distribution site for the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25. With poppies from all over the Commonwealth, Willow on the Green distributes British, Scottish, and Canadian poppies.
While Global Affairs Canada does most of the heavy lifting for us on this location, we are pleased to provide support and additional supplies to the Canadian Consulate in San Francisco and their poppy distribution efforts.
British Columbia Trade and Investment– The British Columbia Government supports international companies who want to invest, expand, and do business in B.C. Helping them build strong links to resources, skills, and businesses that make British Columbia an attractive place to work and invest.
Liberty School District and Liberty Elementary School are located adjacent to Liberty Cemetery in Petaluma, which the Royal Canadian Legion, US Branch #25 helps to maintain. This year saw the return of Liberty’s annual Veterans Day assembly, and the branch was there yesterday at the event to distribute poppies once again.
Once again Branch 25 is incredibly thankful that the Prime Moose, Sarah Price, has agreed to take some poppies and a poppy box and make them available at upcoming Digital Moose Lounge events. The images below are ones that were shared by the organization from their Chesterfield Chat on the “The Future of Work.”
