When: Social hour 11 AM, Lunch 12 noon

Where: Presidio Golf & Concordia Club

Cost: $38 per person. Guests & gentlemen are most welcome and encouraged.

Program: Our speaker will be Colonel Fred Rutledge, President of the Royal Canadian Legion, San Francisco Branch 25 and a member of the branch for over 35 years.
He is a fourth generation native Californian. He retired from the Army Reserve as a Lieutenant-Colonel in 2007 with over 27 years of service and promptly joined the California State Military Reserve and the California Center for Military History.

Reminder: ANZAC Day Commemorative Ceremony

ANZAC Day remembers the campaign waged by the Australian-New Zealand Army Corps in Gallipoli against the Turkish forces during World War I.  While not part of Canada at the time, one of often forgotten participants of this engagement were the Royal Newfoundland Regiment (see here and here).  This year the Royal Canadian Legion will be participating in the services below, so please join us.

Please note the location has been changed to the Log Cabin at the Presidio, San Francisco.
