Liberty School District and Liberty Elementary School are located adjacent to Liberty Cemetery in Petaluma, which the Royal Canadian Legion US Branch #25 helps to maintain.  Earlier today the branch once again distributed poppies at the school’s annual Veterans Day assembly.

We were lucky to have Branch Piper, Charlie Martin, in attendance and he piped the children into the hall.

Note that the faces of the elementary school children are intentionally blurred.

Join the Branch 25 of the Royal Canadian Legion (representing the San Francisco Bay Area) for their annual Remembrance Day Service. The service will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion plot in Liberty Cemetery on 170 Liberty Road in Petaluma at 11am on Saturday, 08 November.
