The Legion provides a Poppy Protocol to guide Canadians on appropriate and respectful wearing of the lapel Poppy. However, wearing a Poppy is a personal expression of Remembrance, and how someone chooses to wear a Poppy is always an individual choice.

The Royal Canadian Legion launches Virtual Poppy Drop 2017

The Royal Canadian Legion is set to launch the 2017 version of its Virtual Poppy Drop in Ottawa this evening, with a digital light show featuring 117,000 virtual poppies representing each of Canada’s fallen since the beginning of the First World War.
