Once again we wish to thank Jay Diamond of the Canadian Curling Supplies for distributing poppies at different curling clubs throughout the Bay Area. Below are some pictures from the Silicon Valley Curling Club and the San Francisco Bay Area Curling Club.
While Global Affairs Canada does most of the heavy lifting for us on this location, we are pleased to provide support and additional supplies to the Canadian Consulate in San Francisco and their poppy distribution efforts.
Over the past few years we have been fortunate to work with some wonderful partners at Google. In recent years our contact has been Jeff Bailey, but Jeff left the San Francisco office this year. Before leaving he was able to recruit Chris Jones to distribute poppies to employees for us this year. So stop by Chris’ desk and pick yourself up a poppy.
Once again we want to thank Tomás Lane and the whole team in the Canadian Studies Program at the University of California, Berkeley for being a distribution location for our poppy campaign.
Once again Branch 25 is incredibly thankful that the Prime Moose, Sarah Price, has agreed to take some poppies and a poppy box and make them available at upcoming Digital Moose Lounge events. The images below are ones that were shared by the organization from their “Hockey Night with the DML” which featured the Sharks vs. Leafs.
