Minister of Veterans Affairs Commendation – Nominate Someone Today!

This opportunity may be of interest to members.

Earlier this month during Veterans’ Week, Canadians from coast to coast to coast honoured the service and sacrifice of Veterans, Canadian Armed Forces members and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

Every year, countless Canadians volunteer their time and resources to help, honour and commemorate our Veterans. These volunteers are crucial to making Veterans’ Week and Remembrance Day a success in communities across the country.

Do you know someone who volunteers to support Canadian Veterans?

Whether it’s someone from your own organization or in your hometown, we encourage you to nominate them for the Minister of Veterans Affairs Commendation.

A diverse range of work performed in contribution to the care and well-being of Veterans, or to the remembrance of their achievements and sacrifices, is recognized through the MVA Commendation.

The deadline for nominations is 31 January 2023. Please share this message with your colleagues, and nominate someone for their volunteer work serving Veterans.

———-

Bonjour,
