Over the past month, C100 has been distributing poppies at various events.
In addition to their offices at 19 Tehama Street in San Francisco.
From the Stanford Canadian Club…
Hi all,
The Royal Canadian Legion has given me a box of poppies to distribute to you all in honour of our fallen soldiers & veterans this November. I’ll be setting up at Tresidder tomorrow from 10:30am-2pm if you’d like to pick one up. All donations collected go towards our local branch’s Trust for veterans and their families. That said, poppies are given freely and are a great way to show your support & appreciation regardless of ability to give.
Feel free to email me if this time doesn’t work for you, happy to arrange another time! History of the poppy here: http://www.legion.ca/remembrance/the-poppy/history-of-the-poppy
Sincerely,
Brooke Mounsey

After receiving the first unofficial poppy of the 2018 Poppy Campaign at the Second Annual Canadian Thanksgiving dinner, organized by the Digital Moose Lounge and the Canadian Studies Program at UC Berkeley, the Canadian Consul General in San Francisco – Rana Sarkar – has been spotted wearing his poppy about town.
Here he is hosting the Chief Trade Commissioner. Ailish Campbell, at a couple of weeks ago at an event during the Young Global Leaders, World Economic Forum.
