From Valley of the Moon at Madrone Estate Winery…

Visit one of Sonoma’s oldest, and the only Canadian-owned winery in the valley.  True to our Canadian roots, pick up a poppy and leave a donation for the San Francisco Bay Area branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.  If you are in the valley on Saturday, 10 November around 11am, stop by Liberty Cemetery in Petaluma for their annual Remembrance Day ceremony.  Then come by the winery in the afternoon for a snack and a tasting.

Come down and get a poppy for your lapel to honor veterans during the lead up to Remembrance Day aka Veterans Day in the States. All donations go to the local chapter of the Canadian legion. During the next two weeks all veterans will get a special discount in appreciation of your service.
