Join us at Huddart Park for a fun filled day. Your $25/$10 (adults/kids) ticket for admission includes a tasty Flamin’ Dog BBQ lunch. You can pre-purchase tickets for cold drinks at the bar (yes, there will be Canadian beer!), as well as sign-up in advance for a special Canadian wine tasting, hosted by Kascadia Wine Merchants.
Get ready for a day of fun — crafts, trivia, street hockey, bean bag toss, water balloons, tug o’ war, a donut eating contest and more surprises! We’ll have prizes including one lucky raffle winner of two Air Canada tickets anywhere in Canada.
Meet Jocelyn Watkinson, the Children’s Author of THE THREE CANADIAN PIGS: A HOCKEY STORY. She will be reading from her book. You can also pre-order a copy from Canadian owned book store, Linden Tree.
DML’s recycle, re-use, re-read Kids Book Swap: bring your gently used books (toddler to pre-teen) to trade with another book or two!
We will even have our own Digital Moose and Mountie in attendance!
Want to help out?
We are recruiting volunteers (setup, cleanup, games, arts & crafts, etc.) for 2.5 hrs shifts and they get 50% off their admissions ticket. Students are welcome to use this as part of their community service credits too!
