As we mark 100 years of service to Canada, there are many ways for members and supporters to take part, learn more, and celebrate this once-in-a-century milestone.

Legion Members who renewed for 2026 and Lifetime Members are automatically entered for a chance to win a Ford F‑150. Members can also receive up to two extra chances to win by shopping online and donating online.

As part of the Legion’s 100^th anniversary, Canadians are invited to write a message of Remembrance that will become part ofcommemorative murals honouring service, sacrifice, and the memory of the Fallen.

Visit a participating Legion Branch before July 31 to write your message, or take part online by sharing a photo of your handwritten message on social media using #DontForgetToRemember.

Each year, the Legion supports Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services’ Operation Canada Day, helping send care packages to deployed Canadian Armed Forces and RCMP personnel.

This year, the Legion helped send 3,000 Canada Day kits to those serving abroad — a small but meaningful reminder that Canadians are thinking of them and grateful for their service.

The initiative continues a long Legion tradition of supporting troop morale, dating back to the Second World War.

The Legion National Youth Track and Field Championships will take place in Regina beginning August 7, bringing together more than 1,000 young athletes from across Canada.

For more than 50 years, the Legion has proudly supported youth through training and competition in track and field. Today, Legion Nationals remain Canada’s premier and only nationwide competition for U16 and U18 athletes.

The event is also about more than sport. Each year, young athletes have the opportunity to learn about Remembrance, service, leadership, and the Legion’s role in supporting Veterans and communities across Canada.

Surviving spouses or common-law partners of military or RCMP members or Veterans, and their dependent children, may be entitled to Veterans Affairs Canada benefits.
