As you know, our sponsors and volunteers play a fundamental role in the success of our mission to honor those who served. This newsletter hopes to show a bit more of the tremendous activity behind the scenes for the setup and placement of flowers at both Alexandria and Arlington National Cemeteries.
Videographer Lani Conklin captured the events over a three-day period and compressed it all into a mere 7 minutes. Videos we send are rarely this long, but we ask you to make some popcorn and grab a few scoops of your favorite ice cream as you get an idea of what you and our Core Volunteers did over the Memorial Day Weekend 2021.
We remain incredibly grateful to be able to play our part in paying tribute to those who served this country. The heroes we honor and remember were willing to put themselves in harm’s way for our freedom. Their families shared that risk, and we are honored to be able to give them flowers for Memorial Day.
We would love to hear and share your stories and pictures. Please contact us at info@memorialdayflowers.org.
Send us an email if you or your organization would like to be more involved in Memorial Day 2022. We have several programs to fit various budgets.
A Special Thanks
The Memorial Day Flowers Foundation is able to continue with its mission thanks to our incredible network of supporters and individual donors.
