NOVEMBER 2021: WE CARE

Twice a year, we pack books, games, snacks, and much more into care packages. Then we ship this small touch of home to some of the thousands of military members who willingly left their homes to protect our homes and safeguard our freedom. Last December’s shipment was our biggest ever! With your help, we can again reach a record number of service members who are missing home over the holidays.

In recognition of Veterans Day this month, why not donate to deliver a care package in honor of a veteran who is special to you.

This year’s in-person event may be sold out, but rest assured that on Friday 5 November we will be celebrating in spirit with every Marine everywhere, past and present.

Our Guest of Honor will be the 19th Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, SgtMaj Troy E. Black, USMC.

The fun begins at 9:30am on Saturday 4 December! Join fellow Marines’ Memorial families and our friends from the 23rd Marines for food, crafts for the kids, a raffle with amazing prizes, and a visit from Santa. “THE TROUBLES”: THE SECRET WAR, 50 YEARS ON

Join us on 7 December at the Marines’ Memorial for an evening with one of the Club’s favorite presenters. This is a “must-not-miss” for anyone interested in intelligence, counter-insurgency and the long history of Ireland and the UK’s “Secret War,” which lasted over 30 years. Brigadier Macdonald served two tours in Northern Island during “The Troubles.”

GAME VIEWING PARTY 2021

On 11 December, members and guests are invited to enjoy a tailgate-style buffet, cash bar, and some friendly rivalry while watching the annual Army vs. Navy football game on the big screen at the Marines’ Memorial Club. Bring the whole family! Doors open at 11:30am and Kickoff is at noon.

RING IN 2022 AT YOUR CLUB!

Whether you’re an early bird or a party owl, we have a celebration for you! Drinks, hors d’oeuvres, a 3-course dinner, DJ music & favors are included in both packages.

The Sunset Celebration ($165 pp) begins at 4:30pm and ends at 7:30pm. Celebrating the New Year ($225 pp) begins at 9:00pm and ends at 1:00am, with a champagne toast and sweets at midnight.
