IFUSS: The International Forum for U.S. Studies: A Center for the Transnational Study of the United States, at The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign announces new Fellowships: The ‘Other’ Border: Canada and the United States
President Trump’s election has drawn increased attention to the U.S.-Mexico border, but it has also resulted in changes on the northern U.S. border. In response to the need to theorize this relationship and its historical and evolving dimensions, IFUSS announces a new project: The ‘Other’ Border.
Up to 5 residential research Fellowships for scholars at all stages of career post-Ph.D, and who are located outside of the U.S. are available during February–April of 2018. Perspectives from across the humanities,
arts and social sciences are welcome.
TO APPLY: send a 3 page project description and account of work currently done on the project, along with a C.V. and letter of application detailing desired dates, plus one sample of your scholarly work (published or in process, and of no more than 30 pages) to: Dr. David Schrag, IFUSS Program Coordinator at:
