May 2: Chesterfield Chat (Palo Alto)

Hosted By: The Digital Moose Lounge

The Digital Moose Lounge is pleased to present our upcoming Chesterfield Chat event, part of our new “Canadians Doing Good” series.

Hear our panel of local Canadians involved with immigrant legal services share their insights on how the current climate has affected their practice; what they have learned about our community; and how being Canadian has shaped their outlook.

Helen Beasley, from Oakville, Ontario, is a Managing Immigration Attorney at the Community Legal Services of East Palo Alto (CLSEPA) and an expert on Children’s Immigration law; Cristina dos Santos, from Bowen Island, BC, is a Senior Immigration Attorney at CLSEPA and an expert on Humanitarian Relief for immigrants. The panel will be moderated by David Stewart, a McGill Law alum and a Digital Moose Lounge board member and CLSEPA volunteer.

Thanks to our generous sponsors for this event: British Columbia Trade and Invest and McGill University. Also special thanks to Morrison & Foerster law firm for providing the space.
