The North Invades the Bay (Area)
Wednesday, June 5th (San Francisco)
For the first time since the Vancouver Canucks made the finals in 2011, a Canadian team will appear in the championship round for one of major four sports (NFL, NHL, MLB, NBA). The Toronto Raptors hosted and won game one on Thursday, May 30th where courtside seats were going for as much as $76K CDN ( TSN). The game marked the first championship game in Raptors franchise history.
The series is now tied and will shift to Oakland for game three on Wednesday. If you don’t already have tickets, we have a special invitation for our DML community…
Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) is hosting We The North: Canada Housewith the support and encouragement of the Consulate General of Canada in San Francisco. We want Canadians in the Bay Area to have an opportunity to share in the surging national pride embodied by the Raptors’ PlayOff run. Please join us this Wednesday to cheer on the Raptors as they take on the Warriors in Game 3 of the NBA Finals!
