La Course de l’Armée du Canada se terminera au Monument commémoratif de guerre du Canada !

Canada Army Run is proud to announce our new finish line at the National War Memorial. Located in the heart of downtown Ottawa, this iconic landmark will greet you at the end of your 5K or 10K journey. It brings together the unique features of a Canada Army Run event, with the importance and symbolism of military history and culture.

Unveiled in 1939, it is a symbol that honours Canadians who fought and sacrificed in war. It also includes the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and is the site of the national Remembrance Day ceremony.

A special thank you to our partners at Veterans Affairs Canada, the City of Ottawa, The NCC, and all of our valued partners who have helped make this possible.

La Course de l’Armée du Canada est fière d’annoncer la nouvelle ligne d’arrivée au Monument commémoratif de guerre du Canada. Situé au cœur du centre-ville d’Ottawa, ce point d’intérêt emblématique vous accueillera à la fin de votre épreuve du 5 km ou du 10 km. Il réunit à la fois les points d’intérêt caractéristiques d’une activité de la Course de l’Armée du Canada et l’importance et le symbolisme de l’histoire et de la culture militaire.

Dévoilé en 1939, ce monument représente un symbole qui rend hommage aux Canadiens ayant combattu durant la guerre et qui se sont sacrifiés. À cet endroit, où est célébrée la cérémonie nationale du jour du Souvenir, on trouve également la Tombe du soldat inconnu.
