The RBLI Newsletter is back!

We’re delighted to be back and eager to provide our supporters with the latest news, products and services to support our Armed Forces community. In this issue, we reflect on the Remembrance period, and share some exciting news including a Royal visit, updates in Government initiatives to improve veteran support and more.

Armistice Day Service 2022

On 11th November 2022, RBLI staff, residents, and people from the local community gathered together in RBLI’s Garden of Honour to remember the brave souls who have given their lives so that we may experience the freedom and luxuries we have today.

The service was live streamed on RBLI’s Facebook page and included prayers from Rev Ruth Peet, speeches from veterans, and wreath laying from numerous members of the local community including schools, veterans and council members.

RBLI host a Royal visit

Earlier this month, we were honoured to welcome Their Royal Highnesses Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie to Royal British Legion Industries, who kindly took the time to see RBLI’s vital care, welfare and employment services delivered to Armed Forces veterans across the UK.

The Princesses came to meet veterans who have completed RBLI’s Lifeworks employability programme after supporting the course earlier in the year at The Big Curry Lunch. They learnt more about how our specialist support helps veterans at all stages of transition to rediscovering independence outside of the military.

Thank you so much for your ongoing support for RBLI.
