Fleet Week aboard the O’Brien : October 10 and 11

Members in the Bay Area may be interested in taking advantage of this opportunity to view Fleet Week from a historic location.

SS Jeremiah O'Brien

National Liberty Ship Memorial
-Every year, the Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, and allied naval forces bring their ships into San Francisco Bay for Fleet Week.

Every year, most people stand on the shore and watch.

You don’t have to do that.

The SS Jeremiah O’Brien is sailing during Fleet Week — October 10 and 11.

You’ll be on the water, under steam, watching the naval vessels and the Blue Angels from the deck of a ship launched in 1943. Watch the engineers keep the lights burning and the screw turning. The crew will be at their stations. The Bay will be full of hardware that doesn’t get this close to shore very often.
