Hello Friend
It’s Tommy Tea time once again! Are you celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee this year? Why not do it with a Tommy Tea and raise vital funds for RBLI?

Gather your guests and host a tea or street party for Her Majesty. You decide where it is and how many people you invite and, most importantly, what’s on the menu!

Over the past two years, our incredible supporters have helped raise £35,000 by holding Tommy Teas, providing services and accommodation for veterans and those with disabilities. Without this income during the height of the pandemic, we just don’t know what we would have done. You kept services running for some of the most vulnerable members in our society, and for that we can’t thank you enough. Your support means the world to us and the veterans we care for!

Sign Up Now!
Once you sign up, you can also register to receive the free fundraising pack!
The Jubilee Weekend takes place from 2nd to 5th June, but you can host your tea at the most convenient time for you! You could put a price on all of the goodies, or ask for a donation of their choice per slice? Perhaps you would prefer to ask your guests to pay a set amount to attend the Tommy Tea in exchange for as much as they can eat!

The free fundraising pack includes invites, cake flags and a collection box to help you ‘raise the dough’! The fundraising pack will also be available in our Facebook Community! 👋 Please get in touch if you have any questions and I will be happy to help!

This fantastic horticultural project is all thanks to the support received from our partners, ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, who’s ongoing commitment to helping military veterans has created a number of opportunities for us to provide housing, employment and welfare support to our vulnerable heroes.

He later appeared on the balcony of the Ministry of Health building in London declaring to the huge cheering crowds “This is your victory”.

Hello Friend
Thank you for your fantastic fundraising efforts
As we jump into the start of April, we want to thank all of the inspirational fundraisers for The Great Tommy Sleep Out for their efforts in what they have achieved so far. As of 1st April, the fundraising total reached a staggering £324,147.56 for our homeless veterans in need of housing and support!

This month, we look back on the Falklands War, 40 years ago, with a number of campaigns to provide ongoing support to those still effected. We also announce the winner of our first ever charity raffle which closed on 31st March.

Winner of the RBLI charity raffle announced!
Margaret from Ashford was announced as the winner of our first ever charity raffle on Friday, with her winning ticket number 229682902! Congratulations Margaret, we hope you enjoy your brand new MINI!

We would like to extend a huge thank you to our fantastic supporters who purchased a ticket in aid of our veterans in need, as well as our wonderful partners who made all this possible; BMW Arden, Lambeth Palace, Leyton Orient, First Port Care Homes, Shepherd Neame, our Tommy Club Founding Patrons and RBLI Trustee, Steven Kingsman, for donating the fantastic prize.

RBLI Chairman hosts a Great Tommy Sleep Out
The Great Chairman Tommy Sleep Out, hosted by RBLI Chairman, Steve Rowbotham, saw a team of our fantastic partners and leaders in their industry sleep out under the stars to fundraise for the thousands of veterans living on the streets across the UK. The team built their own shelters for the night using nothing but their sleeping bags, cardboard and tarpaulin, and were joined by a number of veterans who felt comfortable enough to share their stories.

Our wonderful partners at Centor, Panattoni UK, WW Martin Ltd, Leyton Orient Football Club and Amey really went the extra mile to raise as much awareness as they could to support our great cause, and we are truly grateful.
