Egyptian Expeditionary Force in WW1: Battle of Romani talk now available on Vimeo

These recorded talks may be of interest to some of our members.

Good afternoon,
I hope you’re keeping well.
I’ve uploaded our talk from last week, in which I was discussing the Battle of Romani in 1916, onto Vimeo.  For those who couldn’t make it, the link is here:

Many of our other talks are also up on Vimeo.  I think some of them had been locked so that you had to log into a Vimeo account to view them, but I’ve gone through them all and I think they are all publicly available now.  If you have any problems, please let me know.
Among the videos are the first two episodes in our new ‘shorts’ series.  These are 10-15 minute videos about particular aspects of the EEF or the daily life for those involved, and will be an irregular and occasional series, basically whenever I get the time to record them.  The first one is here, looking at how the EEF coped with the desert conditions in the Sinai:
I hope that the shorter ‘bite-size’ videos will be able to balance convenience with still providing quality information.
All the best,
Stuart Hadaway
